It's silky soft and feels really nice on your skin. I'm about 5'10" and this goes down to almost my knees, but I have to get pretty warm before I want to take this off. It's a light enough fabric that you stay comfortable for quite a while. It does have a fairly high neckline, so if you're someone who doesn't like ANYTHING near your neck, it might not be for you. In my case the fabric is smooth enough that I don't mind it. Perfect for just relaxing around home.
